Students had a ton of fun the last week of school before Spring Break. From bread making, to noisemakers, to Easter Egg hunting, it was a blast!
We gathered all our ingredients and tools.
I had 2 small groups help prepare the bread.
Cay'vion and Kymiah were my helpers carrying out bread dough to Mrs. York's room. She kindly let us use her oven:)
We baked the loaves at 350* for 30 min. And viola!!
Some very happy kids enjoying fresh warm bread with milk from Nurse Ryan's office. Butter courtesy of Mrs. York also. How could I forget the butter?! Thank goodness for Robinson teachers!
We even had enough to share with Mrs. Omey's class!
Making bread is great but so is making noisemakers for our unit on sound! Students had to design a noisemaker and use this design sheet to theirs. We wanted students to use their learning about these materials to chose items that would make the most noise.
Materials they thought would be the best to use.
Noisemakers ready for materials to be added. I didn't get a picture of the final products for this blog. I'll add those pics plus the winning noisemaker for the loudest next week.
Miss Beard continued with partners of ten and had a fun jellybean graph activity for our last day!
